Its struck me how much I've missed it, Livejournal. The thousands of entries you'd daily fill the friends page with and just generally feeling - connected.

Fuck I've missed it.
Now hit me, LJ, with therapeutic worldly news about every actor, actress and film-still, you've got!

Think maybe this pc's been up in my room alittle too long..
Okay, so it's only been two or three days now but honestly, I don't want it up here anymore.

Sorry computer but your going back downstairs.
I must admit, the empty computer desk does look alittle abandoned down there but the only real reason is that I want my lovely green leather top desk back *pines*

Woo for the extra desk space! Theres barely any room to set up any canvas' in here let alone with the mammoth computer screen (which is wonderful to watch films on from the comforting boundaries of bed! But who wants everything so compact? I need to moove.)

Mr Tulip the Cat is looking well again after all the watering and sun I've given him today :D I gave him alittle prune too and I dare say he looks the better for it :3

Now lets see if theres room to paint from bed, night night <3

There are so many art schools!
And I've requested Prospectus' from can't remember how many :/
Accidently ordered one from the Art Academy in San Francisco too haha. Spending a good 25 minutes just trying to find out the telephone codes to beable to fill out the application.

25 minutes for +44 20

XD

Also, been thinking about Veganism. Not strick, that'd be alittle too much to cope with. Obsessively checking packets and whatnot. Just not eating as many eggs and as much milk. (And butter :S urgh, thats been making me queezy lately)
Of course it'll peeve mum XD she was annoyed enough when I became vegetarian "But what can I cook now?! All you ever ate was MEAT now WHAT!"
Its possibly a psychological thing because I've just had no desire to eat anything 'milky' at all and the idea of cow has made me squimish.

Am however wanting to eat a nice beer battered cod though, mmm. <3
So maybe a swap with the dairy and fish?

*ramble ramble*

Watched 300 last night (at home >.>) and it was just like a story! :D
The obvious CGI'd backgrounds and little detailed sourroundings were excellent. 'Cas you know how in comics or when you read a book, you only single out the few things that are involved with the story and all else is sort of 'filled in'? Well, it did that to a tea and the upped contrast/saturation simply made it!
Plus, the settings and scenes were very stage orientaited which was very graphic novel too! (which was what they must have been going for, judging by the Sin City ending credits)
Out of the film, the long tracking scenes were probably the best. Ultered speed tracking, following all the moves with close-ups and 'impact'-ups XD All in one glorious long fighting shot as he crashed his way through all the Persians! Excellent!

(Yay mums baking!)

Mm, you can smell the rain on the air :D

Its been like these for days and you can see the clouds all whelded up with it. Just waiting for it to let it all go and for it to start the showers April is known so well for.

Springs here :D

As is the rain too, hopefully!

Tax deduct 'if-your-under-such-an-age-and-under-such-a-wage' form, which to my surprise appeared in front of me in mums hand.
"Don't you need to fill this out?"
The sudden delight of actually finding it again was somewhat crumpled but the fact that I remembered "SHIT! It was due in like, a month ago!".
Luckily, the due dates tomorrow. So theres still alittle time left.

TASK:

Geography, as you can imagine, is thrilling :D

Woo!

I do not appreciate the comparisons dad seems to come out with. Its forced me to take the rest of the McVities: Milk Chocolate Digestives.

I'm slowly starting to feel theres a problem..

Rosie

P.S. My tounges burnt again, for heaven sake.

since I've said anything, and I've an excuse for the last week (Away in Germany) but for the rest of the time you can slap me - not that it's ever ALL that interesting whats typed about here :)

GERMANY - is amazingly CLEAN.

That needs to stand alone as it was brilliantly clean and environmentally friendly everywhere (minus the Ozone-Hole-Inflicting-Pollution-Producing-Train we all went up the Brocken in). They have recycling bins! I mean, where on earth in England do you get something so thought through! (Okay so we get the giant bins out the house but I'm talking about normal bins, around the town. Most, if not all, with separate holes for Packaging, Glass, Waste and something else ((probably metal, but I can't read German)))

Anyway, it was fun walking back down the Mountain. Its around 1142m high so if you triple that to get down, thats about what we walked to get down - the track goes back on its self, like a zig-zag for failure to break your ankles on the way down, I presume.
I'm not too sure how Jenny, Rob and I managed to be at back of each outting we did, with no exception for the hiking on Tuesday. On the way down, eventually we couldn't see everyone else they were so far ahead. But no worries, really, Jenny went off ahead to catch up while Rob and I carried on at the usual pace - till we saw Jenny on the other side of the zig-zag, down the mountain. (we would have have used it as a shortcut before but the fact of the matter was a giant river, so we thought again XD) But yeah, once we saw her, Rob gave little warning to leaping down the ironically steep slope to meet her on that side of the trees. Of course she was already far ahead by the time we actually go down (and for me to follow XD what a wimp I am "but we shouldn't go across there, should we?").
We sort of popped out the other side with snow/mud flying onto the road. XD And what brilliant timing. As we suddenly appeared out of the trees and onto the road, a group of German hikers were walking towards us - they were somewhat quiet (no doubt from the fiercness of their hate for us trampeling out of the 'Designated Pathways'!) as we passed eachother XD They must have known we were English.

Anyway, plans for today are to watch the three films downloaded by BitTorrent - <3.
Anastasia, Akira and Art School:Confidential (you know, only know as it occoured to me that they all start with 'A' hahaha) I was wondering what order to delightedly watch them in but I'm thinking alphabetical now.
That'd make it:
Akira, Anastasia then Art School - actually, the mood for watching Akira really isn't now.
New plan:
Start with a easy animation (and of course that 'What Happened To Anastasia?' in on tonight at 9, so that ties in nicely), work on with a comical-uni-arthouse then safe Akira for when I can be bothered to pay attention XD

Wooo, my dad planned! Geography can wait till tomorrow XD

Hope you are all well

Rosie

P.S. It was brilliant to e-mail Charly with the German keyboards there, the z and y were swapped around so every time I went to write 'Anyway' it became 'Anzwaz' - which is amazing! XD Without even trying it basically turned everything I said German.

P.P.S. We took heaps of photos and not to mention BRILLIANT videos, which I'll see if I can get ahold of.

P.P.P.S. http://music.guardian.co.uk/video/page/0,,2045537,00.html Patrick Wolf has saved all his hair off! In Charly's words it looks like an emo cut it with their eyes closed :( Still, hes as sweet as ever which is nice to know. I'd be sad if the loss of hair would present a loss of morale.

P.P.P.P.S. They've MADE LOVE - and he hasn't even TOLD her! (The Guy next Door by Meg Cabot)

Making that amused me a fair bit

Tomorrow will be fun, people are coming over including Matt :D He's arriving sometime in the morning and since mum isn't back from traveling about in the cab with dad, it's buses for transport. She'll be coming back back in the early afternoon though, which'll be nice. Haven't seen her since Wednesday morning..

Hope the get together goes well tomorrow, should do. I have faith XD

Anyway, night night. Better go, on account of Thomasin shouting, get off the pc, in a squeely broken voice XD

P.S. That party was utter shite. Jenny, Kevin and I were the only people dressed up (minus the guy with crappy face paint which was a crap excuse for a costume). We had paid 6 pounds to get in but I'd of gladly gone to the cinema across the road XD even in my outfit.

I'll get a photo or two of our costumes and post them.. amazed at how the mushroom hat worked.

Night!

Bought the few ingredients for my Toad costume during lunchtime today.
I couldn't find any (cheap) cream/white or red fury material, which made me sad. So just as I walked out of the shop I glanced down at the fabric squares bin and bing =D There were all the pieces I needed.
Had to substitute the white for a incredibly light pink but out of all the other colours there that was the best choice. Didn't buy any stuffing because we have lots of pillows at home XD

Also, convinced Jenny to finish her dress and go as Peach. Mario, Peach and Toad. Couldn't be better XD

Must say if Jenny didn't go as Peach I'd of made a Princess Mononoke outfit - which no doubt would have been worn at home..

Anyway, Happy Birthday dad.
Lots of the family are meant to be comming around, but for the moment mum and dad aren't home yet, so I wonder what they arranged.

Have a lovely night ^_^

P.S. I tasted the worst cheese today. It was a blue cheese which it hadn't matured properly and it would of tasted not very pleasant anyway. I don't joke when I say it tasted like bile..

It was a wonderful snow day yesterday and Charly let me use her scanner because mines fucked, basically. We watched Some Kind of Wonderful which rather heart warming, ansty too, obviously, its made by the guy who made Pretty in Pink of course they'll be teen angst. Had some marvelous Irish Cream hot-chocolate then watched the whole series of Spaced. I love Simon Pegg in that show XD

Anyway,
Cuts, cuts cuts obviously - Ezra Gefril! )
As you can see, its not coloured but I'm working on it, and I fancied posting it :3

Night

Before I go and do anything else, FUCKING YES! The filming for the Thriller is done!
After the Director decided to do fuck all to help because apparently "It should have been done already". And then, without even telling me, abandon the group, leaving everyone else high and dry. Ticks me off.

But fair enough, if she wants to do that. I'm the one with the film.

Jenny, Kevin, Drew, Scott and me had a whale of a time filming. Even if we spent more time trying to make the garden-hose work, sadly not to our prevail XD The hose was frozen, what with the frost and all from last night. We used boiling water, salt, bending, stepping on and laso-ing and got as much as a dribble through XD Jenny filmed alot of it with her camera so I'll upload one if I can.

I'm still in amazement that we did it all in the space of a few hours. 'Course it's only going to make up two minutes of screen time but ohwell, we can have some glorious out-takes during the credits XD (And when I say that, I mean the film of the hose and me throwing water up to my bedroom window so it would looked alittle like it had been raining - why we wanted the hose, see. All brilliant XD)

But yes, fuck it, if she wants to go and be in another group. I've done the filming for 'her' story and did all the bloody work, including storyboard, arranging/asking people to act (not to mention Jenny and Drew look a like which is an added bonus since they were meant to be brother and sister). I don't want to be bitter but I'm half tempted to tell sir to enter me by myself and not with the others because I'm the one who did everything. They couldn't even be fucking bothered to come and watch.

What makes everything instantly better, was the timming of the train going by on the railway couldn't of been more perfect. Just as Drew was walking away up the ally away from the baby the train slowly began to get louder and louder till he was gone. Seriously, yes XDD

Anyway, this house is cold, I think I'll go see if the boilers gone off again.

Woah, I'm tired.
Went into town during the last period since I hadn't a lesson and bought myself a new school bag. Hurrah!
I'd eyed up the bag on the Saturday after work but figured I'd do the right thing and save my money for a few weeks. Ironic how I simply get it a few days later XD
There was a need for it.. the volume of the old bag was just too small, and hurt my shoulder ;_;

The man serving me tried to con me out of £5, so now both Game and Gamestation hate me XD

No Bowling today :/ Apparently Scott (the guy who suggests we go and do these things) had to go and sort out train tickets to London. Which he couldn't do tomorrow of course.
And what ices the cake, its all been rearranged for tomorrow when neither Jenny, Kevin or I can go. Bleuragh.
Speaking of cake and rearrangements, fairycake baking is now on Friday :D

Miss Thorpe also took special care in telling me how I needed to buckle up with all this art work. She ushered both Jenny, me, aswell as another girl outside.
As she said how we needed to work for our grades, she filtered the three of us down till it was simply me standing outside the classroom with her. The one on one pep talk helped, though if I'd told her she'd probably think I was a kiss arse. But it did. I painted David Hockney's mother, and for the most part of the day I might add.
'Cause it isn't finished but its a start. And though none of it can be done here, at home (no paints etc), I can just use one or two of the photocopies later using something else.
Five pages are to be done by Friday and with the count at less than two - work must be done!

Anyway, appears mum came home early with a migraine.. everyone seems to be ill lately :/

{{POINTS: For solidly painting for more time than I wasn't :D}}

P.S. Also, I badly need a haircut. With the job, mum implies it should be paid by me.. but surely that comes under aminites? ;_; Plus I have no money XD

P.P.S. This pc is fucked, there isn't even room to complete a full defragmentation.

XD [Shake it by Wolf-wisper on Deviantart.com]

Hurrah, so this damned headache is gone! D: my tummy still feels sicko though. One goes for the other XD

What a useless post, nevermind!

Oh no, maybe not such a useless post, check out the comedy jem :D

WARNING: Rather long unneeded intro. But after.. XD

Man, my head hurts. This headache has been spreading since lunch. Took something once I banged on the door for dad to come and let me in, so the pain'll go. Soon.
Where the hell either of my keys are is a mystery. Luckily dad's home with flu, to let me in (or not so lucky, I wouldn't want to have flu..). He'll be back at work tomorrow though so looking for them would be a good idea; probably fallen down the hole in my coat pocket.

Today was dull, out of the four lessons I was suposed to have, I went to one. And even that was spent in the Art room. Thats probably why I do no work, its simply impossible to do anything in there.
I'd be better off studying at home and going in on the off day to take a break.

What other interesting stuff has happened. None D:

Tomorrow will be better, Geography is nothing exciting so we're going Bowling. Which means DDR with Jenny and Tom :D Apparently they have a few machines up at the cinema now which is ironic since they make so much noise XD

Blargh, my head ><

(Its surprising how few Zombie picture cap sites there are :/ I spent ages looking, since Dawn of the Dead was on last night and I wanted to make a new icon (Zombie picture with 'Wargh!') but http://www.peggster.net/ is the best I could come up with. Oh, and some crude necrophilia blog.. ON livejournal in fact! I'm shocked.)

Haha, the height of discussion was nipples today.. Oh and Happy Birthday Rob!
